Allergies and Nurofen
If you’ve ever had an allergic reaction to aspirin or another NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), such as a rash, swelling of your tongue, throat or lips, or difficulty breathing, do not take Nurofen. If you commonly suffer from allergic reactions, it may be advisable to speak to your doctor before taking Nurofen.
