Temperature Reading

How does FeverSmart measure temperature?

Feversmart has a temperature sensor to measure the armpit temperature of your child and sends this to your smart device at least once per minute. When the Monitor is first applied, the sensor will go through a warm-up phase which lasts approximately 8 minutes. After this time the temperature readings sent to your smart device are accurate to within ±0.2°C. Your child's arm needs to be in the dropped position and the sensor needs to be placed right in the armpit for accurate temperature readings.

Is the thermometer accurate/reliable?

FeverSmart is accurate to ±0.2°C. To ensure accurate readings the instructions for use should be followed, including ensuring that your child's arm is covering the monitor at all times.

How is the temperature transmitted from the device to my phone?

The Monitor uses Bluetooth Low Emission to communicate with your smart device.
